That is a lot of money to spend - a 4770k won't fit your needs until the next round of cpus/mobos come out?

I mean depending on what applications you use, the cost of a new cpu/mobo and more RAM will not get you a huge performance increase. New DDR4 will be coming out soon as well.

EDIT - I was saying putting a 4770K in your mobo may give you acceptable performance for rendering at a substantial cost saving.
