Thanks, is this a good motherboard though? Is there anything missing which I may want to pay more for?

He could get the Gigabyte 78LMT-S2P which is like £32 but obviously only has 2 RAM slots and one PCI-E but then we dont know if he is running 2 GPU's or 2+ Ram Sticks

The problem with the 78lmt-s2p is that it uses the 960g chipset and for a Vishera cpu it sucks/has issues. For a FX series CPU i would only suggest using a 970 or 990 based chipset. If you only plan on a small oc or not oc at all you could get a board like this one http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-motherboard-970ag46. The big differences between the Gigabyte in your like and the MSI is the MSI doesn't have a usb 3.0 header and lacks some of the overclocking features.
