one dsl line into house, 2 outlets. Can I connect a router to each outlet?

Solution
If your modem has 2 lan ports and is also a router, then yes, you can.

If you want the systems on the same network(and your DSL modem is in fact a router), it is best to disable DHCP in the the other routers to allow the modem/router unit to assign ip addresses. Please note this turns the router and wireless router into a switch and wireless access point(you do not use the WAN ports in this configuration).

It sounds like you want to extend your home network in some way. The DSL connection can not accomplish this. It requires Ethernet wiring, powerline adapters or some sort of WiFi modification. Ethernet wiring is preferred for speed, reliability and security when networking a home but is difficult and sometimes too difficult to do. Other options trade off speed and/or reliability for ease of instillation but may still be quite usable.
