i'm trying to decide between these two laptops. MSI GT70 or MSI GX70 destroyer.
i do a lot of gaming and play games like sniper ghost warrior 2, crysis 3 and metro last night and i also do CAD.

Should i go with the gt70 which has an i7 4700QM and gtx770m
or the gx70 with the a10 5750M and the R9 M290X?

what size laptop should i buy 17 inch or 15 inch?
(i only need to carry it around once a week other than that it stays at home)

Solution
*Get the i7 + GTX770M.

I think both the GPU's mentioned are fairly similar, but the Intel CPU's are more power efficient, as are the NVidia GPU's when compared to the AMD equivalent so I think that laptop would run quieter.

I'm pretty sure the Intel CPU is more powerful than the CPU in the APU you listed.

AMD has the "advantage" of being Mantle compatible but we're not at a point where I can award that much points.

NVidia has its own advantages:
- PhysX
- Shadowplay (game recording)
- G-Sync (for new G-Sync monitors. It's really awesome tech to make games run very smooth even at 40FPS.)
- Shield

SCREEN SIZE?
That's up to you. If in doubt I recommend the 17" since you said you don't need to move it much.
