Minecraft Server PC Build

Hi. I am pretty tech savvy and recently built a new PC. I want to run a Mine Craft server, and play mine craft. My specs are as follows:
-Huntkey X7 900W PSU
-EVGA GTX 460 FPB
-WD Caviar Blue 320GB HDD
-16GB 1600Mhz dual channel DDR3
-AMD FX8350
-Raidmax 902WW
-Corsair H50
-MSI 970A-G46
-Win 7 Ultimate X64

My other idea was to build a second computer (preferably). If I do so, some of the parts WILL BE USED. What would be recommended for such a computer? I am not familiar with servers. I want this one to have very little lag and be able to support many users.

The most important thing is the CPU and maybe the RAM for a minecraft server. Yours is definitely good for it. I used to run my server on a 350 dollar laptop and it was still half decent. I run mine now with 12 GB RAM and an i7 970 I think and its fine.

Also, if you make the dedicated server you don't need a GPU.

The most important thing for a good server is the internet connection. You need a high speed service like fiber to get the best performance. And for best results use an Ethernet cable not wireless.
