FX-9590 CPUID Temps

Hello! Was wondering if anyone could let me know if my temperature looks good for my new FX-9590 cpu. I'm using a H60 liquid cooling system.

Use openhardware monitor or hwinfo64.

there are 2 temps you are interested in. The core or package temp, which should be 62 max, and the socket, or motherboard temp which should be 72 max.

Also you didn't post a pic so we can't see anything. lol.

I don't think the H60 is sufficient for a 9590.

The H-60 is insufficient as a cooling supply for the 9590. The AIO AMD supplies (stock cooler go figure) is approx. same as H-80i, and everyone knows, stock coolers are meant to be thrown away or sold on ebay.

Way to hot for idle. You're going to burn that thing up the second it goes full load. You need a better cooler before you even try using your system.

If you are seeing those temps consistently, your very expensive AMD chip, will be a paperweight shortly. 62*C is maxed out for it, and is a temp you should never see. Sorry, but your H-60 is very underpowered as a cooling solution, this chip runs excessively hot, probably the hottest of any AMD/Intel chip. A H-80i is rated as a minimum with tenencies towards a double radiator like a Thermaltake Water 3.0 extreme or H-100i,H-110 being much preferable. Best yet would be a full WaterCooling setup for the FX 9590. Failure to meet these minimums will guarantee a seriously short lifespan.
