I recently got a new PSU and a new GPU. The PSU says its a Thermaltake Smart M, with 850W. The GPU is a GTX 770. I use a razor keyboard black widow and a generic mouse. Upon startup, when I reach the desktop, everything is working fine. Then about 20-30 seconds in, around when the desktop gadgets load in, the keyboard lights will begin to flicker, all while the keyboard is unresponsive. The mouse as well does not work. I'm guessing it's not receiving enough power, but shouldn't 850w cover all power needs? Like I said, at first both mouse and keyboard work fine, and their lights are normal and not flickering.

I didn't install the new components myself, if that may mean something could have been put in wrong.

I'm on windows 7, gigabyte motherboard.

Thanks for the help, computers bring out the anxiety in me!

Try reinstalling the newest MB drivers, chipset, usb 3.0 and etc. You can get them from the manufacturer's web site. Especially install the latest driver for your GTX 770, from Nvidia's web site.

If problem persists, uninstall any gigabyte utilities if you have any installed.
