First thread :bounce:
I want a critical assessment of my plans, my build and if you want, my life. Call me an idiot, throw things at me I literally just want the best.
So I want a rig that will allow me to run CSGO at a comfortable 120FPS @ Near enough max settings and to run BF4 at 60FPS on High @1080p.
I've done a limited amount of research and I originally planned to get a 7870OC paired with an FX-6300. However things have come up and I need to save where I can so I've opted for cheaper alternatives in the FX-4130 and a HD 7770 GHz for the meantime; which obviously wont achieve what I want in BF4(HERE IS THE BUILD). These are temporary parts which I will probably use to build my brothers a PC in the future. Now for the actual questions :
1. Do other sockets provide me with more extensive upgrade trees ?
2. Should I get a more powerful PSU for future-proofing and overclocking ?
3. As I intend to overclock both the temporary parts and the future parts will the motherboard chosen be suitable ?
4. Opinions on desktop SSHDs ?
5. What future upgrades should I be looking at ?
If you need any more info just ask. All help is appreciated, answering one question out of the 5 is more than enough help.
My budget is around £450 ($750).

Thank you, It's a solid build which I did not know I could do for so cheap. However you didn't answer my questions and my intention is to build the two PCs over time so I will still need to do it in two steps.

Just a heads up, don't build a PC overtime, save up, watch the market for about a week or so, wait for prices to settle and the build to line up nicely, then . . . ATTACK!!!

Just a heads up is all.

Good luck mate.
