Hello,
I am looking to start my first build for AutoCAD and gaming. I am a draftsman (2D building plans and details) and will be looking to start my own business in the future. I currently use AutoCAD 2014 at work and will be going with either that or AutoCAD 2014 LT. I will also be using this PC for gaming. At present time I do not need something that will run constant at the highest possible settings. I do not play first person shooters but am into third person action games (Mass Effect, GTA, Saints Row) so it will need to be able to run games like that. This PC will be hooked up to my TV, a Dynex 42" LCD (model DX-L41-10A) with a 1920x1080 resolution, via HDMI.

Approximate Purchase Date: 1-2 months, but can start ordering parts piece meal
Budget Range: $900-$1200 Before / After Rebates
System Usage from Most to Least Important: 1a. AutoCAD, 1b. Games
Parts Not Required: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: any reputable online store. I do live about 90 minutes from the MicroCenter in Tustin, CA and would be willing to drive for the discount.
Country: USA
Parts Preferences: Intel CPU. Been looking at using the i7-3770 as I will not be overclocking. This is the same CPU I use at work, but I will not ignore other recommendations. I would be willing to go with an i5 if possible. An SSD to house the OS (Windows) and possibly AutoCAD. I do not need a ton of local storage (no more than 1TB,) as I can purchase hard drives and external enclosures as needed. Optical Drive.
Overclocking: No
SLI or Crossfire: No Actually, I dont know what this is.
Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Additional Comments: I am not into windows or pretty lights or anything like that. I like simple and clean for my case. Front usb ports would be nice, but not a necessity. I can deal with noise, but would like to keep heat down as much as possible. I do like small form factor PCs, but again, this is not a necessity.
