I was playing WoW with skype and the battle.net launcher open. I lost connection to my skype call which caused my screen to go black. I did a Manuel shut down by holding my power button down but after rebooting my computer everything became EXTREMELY slow/unresponsive. Simple things such as my start menu wont even open without saying "not responding." Sometimes my whole screen will go into a faded white mode and then tell me my windows explorer is not responding. Everything was working fine until I had to force shut during WoW. Thanks for any help in advance.

Sounds like the power loss might have caused some damage to either you hard drive or the motherboard... I would suggest trying a different hard drive in the system first and seeing if it is still slow and unresponsive after installing windows on the other drive, if it is, then that could mean that there was some damage to the hard drive controllers on your motherboard.
