I want only one drive. What I am looking for is a way to extend hard drive space for a tablet pc. What I want to do is sit with my tablet and run programs that I use on my pc ms 7, and tablet ms 8.1, and another android tablet, of course not the same programs, but keep apps on the android and files (books, videos, etc on the hard drive). In the case of the ms 8.1 tablet, keep programs even, (like Dragon Naturlly speaking) on the nas drive and run from the ms 8.1 tab

If you are going to watch a lot of movies my advice would be a better one. When you are going to run ISCSI (for running apps from the NAS on windows 8) you are definitely need a better solution.
