Hi,

So, I am looking to build a new gaming system, I am looking at probably getting the i7 4770k.

My previous build had the Noctua D14, and it was huge and ugly, and would prefer not to get it again, sure it's quiet and delivers nice temperatures, but I would prefer to have it as a last case resort.

I was looking at the Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro 2 but I couldn't find any retailers selling it, or even how much it would cost here.

I am looking at getting the 'Phantom 530' case, so it must be able to fit.

So, can someone suggest a good *air* CPU cooler, that is less than $100?

I don't really plan on overclocking, but in the future, I might look into it..

(Unless Noctua D14 is still the best air cooler, then I guess I don't have a choice, but I was hoping for something close to it, but without the ugliness)

Solution
Thermalright's Silver Arrow, Phanteks' PH-TC14PE, and Be Quiet!'s Dark Rock Pro 2 (and 3) are all good alternatives.

There is also the Zalman CNPS12X to take a look at.
