Please look at this: http://searchsecurity.techtarget.com/guides/Is-RDP-secu...

Windows has been suffering from security holes in RDP ones in a while.
I suggest to switch off RDP and go with other software like teamviewer.
RDP works but isn't the core business from Windows.
Teamviewer on the other hand has a lot of updates and in my opinion a much better solution.

Hope this helps

RL600, i appreciate the reply:p

thanks a whole big lot!
i'm trying to make my computer more secure,
and figure out ways/techniques on how to do so.

you have been a real big help RL600.

guess i'll uncheck the box for windows remote use.
so you'll still have internet connection without this setting.
it doesn't effect your performance.
you don't need it: you can always use another program.

Off course, when you turn off RDP you wont see any difference on your internet connection.
And of course it wont effect your performance!
