I recently asked what components would i need to make an NES gaming PC but did not get much support. I want to get the Intel NUC apart and put the MoBo inside the NES and add a video card put it does not specify if the expansion slot is PCI Express 3.0 or something similar. Or would anybody recommend to get different components. Again I want this to be a gaming PC. Please help.

For gaming, if you can afford it, i would go build your own i7 3770k or 17 4770k gaming rig. However, if you are budget minded or Need an small form factor, i'd go with the first one because it has an i7 4770R and Iris pro graphics which is like an uber powerful integrated graphics chip. Personally, i've been eyeing up the second one because of the price and the fact that it has Intel 5000 graphics. Granted, its's not iris pro, but i think it should get an extra 10-15 fps in mine craft over 4000 or 4400

Could you include some links to what you have and plan to use?

PCIE 2.0/3.0 is a non issue.

But gaming in a small case at any decent performance level will be a challenge.
The needed graphics cards and associated PSU simply won't fit in a very small case, and cooling will be inadequate.

I went to the Intel website and also new egg. And the reason I want to use the NUC is because it has an external PSU, or a power adapter so that then I don't have to worry about fitting the power supply inside the NES
