Ram Frequency Question

My motherboard's support page says that it supports ram at 1333 mhz, and everything above that will be underclocked. My motherboard is a GA-H67M-D2. Would there be a way to use higher frequency ram at it's full potential, like overclocking the ram? Should I just stick with 1333? I'm looking to upgrade from my 2x2gb sometime soon. Answers from people with experience with this mobo will be greatly appreciated. Please keep your answers more detailed than vague. Thanks all.

Solution
Your mobo has a support for DDR3 1333/1066/800 MHz memory modules upto 16GB max. Any ram above 1333MHz will reset to mobo's defaults. Yes you can overclock the RAM though it will not give you much performance improvement. It is the CPU overclocking that yields performance improvements. Your RAM at 1333MHz with tight timings (CAS Latency of 9 and below) would be good enough for you.
