That build will OC decently, but AMD processors aren't very good for OC but the CPU cooler is great for keeping temps down. The 970 motherboard will also cope with OC as well. I would OC your CPU to 4.7/4.8GHz and nothing over 5GHz, as it may make your CPU unstable. Comparing it to a i5 3570k stock, at gaming it will never do as good but in multitasking, always do better due to the 8 cores.
