For the last week or so, attempting to stream any TwitchTV channel completely cripples my desktop. Everything slows down to a crawl. Chrome, games, itunes, etc. At first I thought it was the network, but I can stream from my laptop, but I can stream from both it and my phone on high quality with no issues at all while in the same room as my desktop (which is plugged into the router so that dosent even matter). Im really confused whats going on. I recently upgraded my GPU, and everything is much better except Twitch. I thought it might be my CPU overheating. Speedfan says its around 70C after an hour of use, but even after a night of cooling off I still have issues. Im worried I may have damaged my motherboard/CPU from prolonged heat. Any ideas?

Oh my desktop is

MB: M5A 78L-M LX PLUS
CPU: AMd FX(tm)-4200 Quad-Core Processor
GPU: GeForce GTX 660
Power Supply: Raidmax Thunder V2 550W
4GB ram
1 TB HDD

Thanks for pointing my to openhardmonitor, I really like the info. As for the GPU and CPU temps and usage, it seems like the following are maxing out:

CPU:
Clocks:
-Bus speed value is 201 MHz while the Max is 201 MHz
-CPU Core #1 value is jumping between 3616 MHz and 3918 MHz with the Max at 3918 MHz
-Cores #2 and #3 also occasionally jump to 3918 but are usually 3616 MHz with 3918 MHz Max
-Core #4 never went above 3616 MHz
Temp:
-Cores 1-4 value at 66.5C with Max at 70.3C
Load:
-None of the loads for the cores are going close to their max.

GPU:
Clocks:
-GPU Core, Memory, and Shader are all maxed. 324 MHz, 324 MHz, and 648 MHz respectively
Temp:
-Around 42/43.0C value with a 43.0C Max
Loads:
-None are near Max value
Controls:
-GPU fan is maxing at 32.0%, not sure what that means

All this was leaving a TwitchTV stream on for 15 min and seeing what OpenHardwareMonitor said. I tried to keep it in the same format at the program for ease. I also use Rainmeter which says my CPU usage is 32%, RAM is 50%, and SWAP is 38%, but im not sure if its accurate at all. I hope some of this helps.
