I just built a pc on a tight budget. (fx 4300, rosewill ranger m, cx 430 v2, 4gb ddr3 @1333mhz, gigabyte ga78lmt-usb3, 2tb wd green, optical drive taken from an old dell, (also I did a little case mod so that I have a 80mm constantly pushing air onto my gpu, and that fan stays at 100%) and a gt 630 4gb msi that I got from my friend for 20$...) Now, in about a month I want to upgrade my gpu so that I can actually play some games at 1680x1050.. Right now I can play skyrim at low settings at 40+ fps, which is fine, but really not good at all for my likings... I would like to ugprade and play some games such as bf3, skyrim, just cause 2, and maybe alot of other graphically demanding games such as those (none as intense as crysis). Please recommend a good gpu for around 130... If I buy now, my budget is 130$ (i'm 13), but if I save up for around a moth, and keep my grades high, my dad can probably throw in like 20 to 30$ so I can buy a gtx 750ti or something.... Buy now, or save?

if you save up for the Gtx 660 around 200 dollars,

You could easily save up for r9 270 which would easily beat Gtx 660 at same price range.

But at your resolution, i don't think it would matter if you picked a Gtx 750 ti even for that matter.

You would be gaming fine.

If you wanted to pick a card now you could pick r7 260x the 1gb variant for 130 dollars.

If you wanted to wait you could pick the Gtx 750ti for 150 dollars later.

There is a 3-4 percent difference in performance of both cards, but at your resolution it really won't matter.

You would be fine with an r7 260x.
