Hi,

I am trying to define a security password on an access point called DLink (model DAP-2553). I tried to connect it with a cable to my laptop and enter the IP address indicated on it: 192.168.0.50, but I did not succeed (no browser which I tried could find it). Do you have an idea how to do this?

Thanks,
Michael

Is there an Ip address on the product itself?
To configure plug your pc (as you did in the router) .Unplug anything else.
Turn on the pc. Turn on the router.
Login in your pc right down corner click on then network symbol.
Click open network.
Click by connections on the connection you are connected with your router.
Click on details.
Look at gateway this is the ip address of the router.
Type this address in your brower in your are good to go.
