Hey guys this is my first pc build and i was wondering if my intel i5 4670k is going to need a liquid cooler (such as the nzxt kraken x660) right away? Also what would be a solid psu for my build?

My Build:

Case: Corsair Obsidian 750d
CPU: Intel i5 4670k Haswell
Motherboard: MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming LGA 1150 Intel Z87
GPU: EVGA w/ ACX Cooling GeForce GTX 770 2GB
Memory: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB DDR3 1600
HDD: 2TB Seagate Barracuda

Thanks for all of the replies in advance. I dont think ill need a liquid cooler right away but if i do please let me know but i do need a psu, i just dont know what kind. I was thinking about a 750w or 850w but would a 650w suffice? thanks again!

You'll need some type of aftermarket cooling when you decide you want to overclock. Until then, if you are staying at stock speeds, the included heatsink and fan will work just fine.

A good 650W would be more then enough power for a gtx770 and still give you lots of headroom for overclocking. What is your budget and in what currency? Maybe I, or someone else, can find you a good deal on a high quality one.

I plan on overclocking but not for awhile but i do plan on adding another gtx 770 though. My budget is around 1,500 US dollars. I also heard 1866 ram is better for haswell, is that true? and if i get another 770 and start overclocking would a 650w psu still be fine?

If you are planning on adding another 770 down the road, you'll want about an 850W psu. Haswell does scale well with ram, 1866 is usually a good idea. That said, I went with 1600 myself, the performance isn't massive. If you get a good deal on 1866 go for it for sure.

Ok im going to get a 850w psu right away then cause i know ill be adding the 770. Do you have a psu in mind? I wouldnt want to go over $180 though. And by the way, does my build look descent?
