  1. You need to upgrade your entire machine.

TEll a budget and we go with your budget.
  2. Well, What was your budget?

Lots of things would need to be upgraded to be able to play Dayz well.

The processor/graphics card/PSU/Motherboard would be start, which basically means it would be best to start a new build and re-use old thins like DVD Drive, HDD for meantime, ect.
  3. My budget is around $200-$300
  4. oh, that could be a problem, is there any way that could come to $700-800?
  5. problem is, if you upgrade that machine with a better graphics card, there will be a bottleneck with the CPU and that is never good as your GPU is being limited.
  6. is it possible to upgrade just the cpu and gpu?
  7. yes, but the motherboard doesn't support high end CPU's to prevent a bottleneck, and if there is one, it'll cost a lot of that budget.

I would recommend you to sell off everything you have for some dollars... except HDD and casing and DVD writer etc.

    Then go with this build.

You can spend 300 dollars and add 70 dollars that you get from selling your old stuff.

This is what I can come up with , with such a low budget, and you should be able to play most games with medium settings to high settings.

Yes, that is a very, very good combo for the price and defiantly look into what build he has suggested. You can make adjustments to that build if you need to.
