hi , i am thinking to upgrade my aging rig. need advice on possible upgrades

current setup is :
core i5 750 @ 2.66ghz
Hyper 212+
Intel DP55WB
4x2gb ddr3 @ 1333mhz (Kingston value )
hd 6870 1 GB
WD Cavier black 1TB
Corsair GX 700 watt
CM STORM Enforcer with 1 200mm and 3 120 mm fans
Creative Audigy 2zs
DEll E2414H LED

the new rig will be used for gaming. mainly (BF4)
NO OVERCLOCKING WHAT SO EVER ! Ambient room temp during summer is approx 40c

You're pretty good.

All you need is to go for a change of processor, motherboard and GPU. You can mostly keep the rest of your stuff.

Now you need to tell a budget, so we people can tell you .... what processor, motherboard and GPU to buy.

200$ processor 150-ish $ motherboard , i am thinking to buy a r7 265 when its available

in your first option the processor is "K" variant so does the motherboard , i don't want to overclock.
how about core i5 4670 and Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3?

Not much difference between the non-k and k variant.. Like 12 dollar difference ...

And if you don't want to overclock why would you think about getting the Z87 motherboard which is an overclocking motherboard ?

my mistake, i was searching through various motherboards and copy pasted the wrong one , how about Intel Desktop Board DH87MC
