84 watt processor instead of a 65 watt with 250 watt PSU

I'm repairing an old computer and was wondering if I could change the old 65 watt processor for a 84 watt processor without any problems. Would my PSU be able to handle it?

Yes, but the motherboard could possibly have a maximum TDP limit though. Will there be a video card? Make sure the cpu you are wanting is compatible with the motherboard.

No there won't be a graphics card, just using the onboard graphics and I have checked to see if it is compatible and it is.
