This is the build I have come up with after quite a while posting questions on here and on Reddit etc. This PC will be used primarily for gaming as well as basic web browsing, iTunes storage and word processing for University.

Does anyone have any recommendations on ways to improve the build without spending too much more money? (Budget is slightly flexible from this point, but not too much)

I am completely new to PC building so if you recommend any specific change, please explain why you recommend it and what the change will do to the performance of the PC!

Information on how I could expect this build to perform would also be great!

I think you did it pretty well. In some high cpu-demanding games like BF3/4 multiplayer on big maps, your FX-6300 at stock will retain some fps, but easely can be overclocked, and so I would take something like the MSI 990FXA-GD65 to be save to overclock well, what you will need to do whatsoever if you want to put later on a second GTX 760, you will set your FX-6300 at least @ 4.8 Ghz on all cores. to not be bottlenecked and loose to much fps.
And maybe better then to consider a 700Watt suplly.
For one GTX 760 + light cpu OC = 500watt will be enough
and a good 700watt supply will be enough to maintain the two GTX 760's with a big overclock off CPU.

I hope it helped you a little bit.
