Corsair RAM Compatibility

I built my first PC a couple of weeks ago and bought Vengeance RAM with the tall heatsinks. I then purchased a cpu cooler and I'm forced to use them in single channel since they don't fit. Are they compatible with the low profile vengeance versions? I'm currently using the 2 slots furthest away from the cpu.

Compatibility will depend upon their timings/speed. Yes they can be used with low profile RAMs. Before buying any new product, do check its compatibility with other components. It will save you from lot of hassle.

Mixing sets of DRAM is not a good idea, it can be problematic, always best to buy a single package of DRAM with the full amount wanted/needed, that way you get sticks that are all tested to play together.
