Hello everyone,
I am planning on upgrading my old CPU and motherboard soon, and I'd like to know if these two are a good combination:
Gigabyte g.1 sniper z85
(http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Killer-Motherboard-GA-G1...)
Along with a core i5 4670k:

My current setup is a core i5 - 650@ 4.5ghz with a gigabyte h55 ud2h motherboard, and a 550w bronze rated psu.
Is this a good setup?
Thanks.
(Note - I am planning on overclocking)

Yep, should be a good pair. Ensure you have an adequate CPU cooling solution too, the stock cooler is insufficient.

I would go for a Z87 board with that CPU. Edit it is! Will do fine.

All right! great to know!
I do have a great cpu fan (coolermaster hyper 212), so I should be good to go.
Thank you very much for the quick answers!
