Thinking of having a dual monitor machine at my work place to increase productivity and such. I was going to buy a simply pre-built i3 machine and add an old HD 4670 in there to run the dual monitors.

I wont be gaming or doing anything more than some very very simple image editing. Other than that it would just be basic office work.

In the pre-built machine it has a 300W PSU. Will this be enough to power the machine. This is the full set up.

CPU: Intel core i3 3220T @ 2.8GHZ
HDD: 500GB HDD
RAM: 4GB DDR3 RAM
MB: ASUS P8H61 M-PRO
GPU: HD SAPPHIRE HD4670

Thanks

It Probably would, but the generic PSU's are generally not good.

The minimum requirement is 300W and the opinion is 75 percent people say it runs perfectly well with such a PSU.

I would upgrade to 400W to give you headway...

Especially since your processor is core i3.

Pre-build machines dont have that good PSUs and it could be enough since the CPU needs not much wattage -35w- and the GPU around 70w but you could open the case and see at the psu how much power it deliver on the different rails, combined power and maybe the name of ot to have a better idea of it.
