I know all of you might tell me to suck it up and upgrade if I could upgrade to windows vista 64 bit for free by all means I would, but it won't happen for free. I have vista 32 bit. Ok, here is the low down, I want to migrate to a ssd, here it is, is it worth it?:

Next I have what I think might be bad speed bumps. Well I had the fbi virus and it inter twind itself in my WINDOWS MEDIA INSTRUMENTS (WMI). And parts are missing in action and need reinstalling that's far and above me or I am not going to take the days and hrs. But it hasn't hindered my pc enough to take it in or cry boo who, not even 2 programs are fully effected and my turnin off the tlb patch on my 9500 still is flawless. Next I have no recovery disk. All I have is a portion with my windows vista on it. I will say I have reinstalled windows from the portion plenty of times, but this time I have a few things I can't replace but maybe its a stretch; it might just be game saves I don't want to loose and configs of sorts that I fiddle with. All in all in the end I could do a reinstall but activating windows was sketchy the last time and only worked over the net; might have been the deadly virus I had that I had to reinstall vista that maybe led to a corrupt install, but we all know things start going downhill after so many years and things that come out of optimising the registries blind with optimising software. So let's just migrate. But I really would like to reinstall a clean copy just affraid it might not activate windows and then all the backing up, downloading and updates will take a week if it does work. But back to the task at hand I would like to migrate to an ssd with a hdd that has an hp oem windows 'vista service pack 1' on portion and on c drive all the recent updates. I already installed a new mobo, and it took it; the mobo is an asrock n68c-s ucc. Can't say it or windows can take an ssd. I got some methods in mind software and my own guff in mind, any sugestions greanted are and will be accepted with the occasional response and such. Put it to the test I would like to keep the portion so I have it split in to 2 drives windows and windows image. I'm speculating that when I do finish I will master boot my ssd and it will use the portion to fix the boot or one of the images on the hdd or sdd. It's going to have to that's all I got. Ok community let's nip this one in the butt.
