First I have a gtx 760 and the asrock z87 extreme 4 mobo. One monitor setup, but I'd like to connect my PC to the tv monitor next to me, so I can watch movies on it.
My problem is now: what cables should I use?
My graphics card has got 2x DVI slots, a mini dp slot and an HDMI output.
The HDMI output is already used by my monitor, so should I just go for the DVI slot?

The HDMI output on my motherboard doesnt seem to work, I dont know mabye I have to activate it in the BIOS. It's just that if I put the cable in the motherboard slot instead of the graphic's card my pc monitor goes completely black. So it might be broken. But even then would the setup HDMI cable graphics card to pc monitor and HDMI cable motherboard to TV monitor work? I did indeed read that these dual outputs aren't always supported.

Does anybody have an answer? I'd like to hear your advices before going off buying the necessary cables.

Chances are the CPU's integrated graphics have been disabled as it recognizes your dedicated graphics card. Poke around in the BIOS, it might be possible to re-enable it but wouldn't rely on that.

HDMI and DVI use the same digital signal, any cheap-o adapter will work fine. Adapt one of your DVI ports to HDMI and you should be fine to plug your TV in, or if the monitor supports it, use DVI to connect it and use the HDMI for the TV.
