Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: all this week and next week

Budget Range: $450 - $550

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Making build for future steam os / gaming / minor graphic design / minor video editing

Are you buying a monitor: No

Parts to Upgrade: Everything

Do you need to buy OS: No (using Linux Mint or Ubuntu until Steam OS comes out)

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Amazon/Best Buy/Microcenter/NCIX US/Newegg/SuperBiiz/TigerDirect

Location: Casa Grande, Arizona USA

Parts Preferences: If a decent Intel is possible but I know on my budget AMD is most likely which is fine with me

Overclocking: Eventually, but not anytime soon

SLI or Crossfire: Eventually, but not anytime soon

Your Monitor Resolution: I don't know. I guess what ever 1080p is.

Additional Comments: Noise isn't an issue, but a quite pc would be nice. I kind of want a window but if there isn't one its not big deal. And with software, other than steam I cant think of anything else (maybe you could recommend some)

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I want to build a Linux pc without using my current computer, because I use it for school.
