Hi there,
I am looking (just looking) at upgrades for my PC in general, but more specifically for a better GPU and a better motherboard.

My current setup:
Case: Coolermaster K280
Motherboard: ASUS M5A78L-M LX
CPU and Cooler: AMD FX-6300 and Hyper 212x
RAM: 8gb of 1333MhZ
GPU: MSi AMD HD7770
PSU; Corsair CX-500
Storage: 1x500gb HDD and 1x250gb HDD and a 1TB on its way.
Any suggestions for relatively cheap upgrades, which would increase my performance, will be greatly appreciated.

650 evga supernova power supply
8350 cpu
Any motherboard that allows you to connect everything properly (and isn't just a paperweight)
A sapphire 280x toxic

That is what I would do for an upgrade

I am more than happy with the PSU and CPU. They aren't my biggest concern for upgrade right now, but thanks for the suggestions. And the GPU you recommended is FAR out of my price range. My price range is somewhere around $160-$180.

For that price you are only getting a 270x, which is basically a rebranded 7870 ghz, not exactly an upgrade. That psu is a huge problem, a won't handle anything decent anyway.
