Oh my , I recently bought this GTX 650 ti I sent it to ASUS to test it and it was fine and im getting low fps on gpu intensive games (on cpu intensive games like hearts of iron 3 I get good fps)
And judging by the fact battlefield 2 is a 2005 game I should be getting much much much better fps.
RAM:6 GB
CPU:Intel core 2 Duo E7500
Mobo:p5N32 E SLI.
kthx help please.

Ok, considering im playing a 2005 game even with bots this cpu in 2005 probably was top of the line, it should be able to max a 2005 game, I stress 2005.

OP is right, I think he should have better performance. Perhaps you have a driver issue.

I have an E6500 with a lousy video card that runs BF2 better than that.

But I still believe that the bottleneck is in your CPU; however, the problem may be what other software is running concurrently.
Make sure that you exit and shutdown any applications and services that aren't absolutely required to run BF2.
You could try something like GameBooster. http://game-booster.en.softonic.com/ to help free up some CPU capacity as well.
