Heys guys im looking for your opinion on this build. It is for the purpose of gaming and overclocking as well as general school use.
CPU: i7 4770k ($250)
GPU: MSI GTX 780 3gb ($520)
PSU: Thermaltake SMART Series 850watt ($85)
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 8gb 1600 ($70)
MBD: MSI Z87 G45 ($130)
HDD: WD 7200rpm 1tb Desktop Mainstream ($60)
SSD: Crucial m500 240gb ($150)
DRV: LG BluRay Combo ($55)
CSE: NZXT Phantom 410 ($75)
Cooler: Zalman CNPS9900MAX ($70)
Fans: $25 (no one cares)
Monitor: Acer 21" LED ($110)
Total: $1740ish with tax

I plan on at a later date adding another gtx 780 in SLI when the one becomes unable to handle what I throw at it. Also for the MSI motherboard does anyone know if it comes with alot of bloatware. My last build had an asrocks and it came with a tonne of crap to "improve performance". Lastly do you think an overclock of 4.2ghz is achievable with relatively low temps (under 90) with this heatsink and case?

Thanks guys

Get an i5-4670k. The i7's only advantages come when you do video editing/professional use. i5's are the most games use. Switch to an EVGA/Asus/MSi GTX 770, unless you're gaming on 3 or more monitors. Switch the PSU to a Corsair TX 750 Watt (the CX series are low quality and if your PSU breaks, it will also break the rest of your system). Get a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO CPU cooler if you want to overclock it decently.

Hey thanks for the feedback. Im taking your advice on the psu and I think im going to get a 850watt thermaltake smart series. Ive had luck with thermaltake before and you are right in the sense that the psu you dont want to cheap out on. The i7 is only $30 dollars more due to a combo so I figured why not even if I use hyperthreading once a month. As for the gtx780 I feel I do have a need for the extra power. Lastly the ive used the hyper evo before and in all honesty want to experiment around with other brands, not cause the evo is bad, but just cause. Thanks.
