hi,

well i just started my first overclock with my 4670k and z87-g45
and this is what i gett now, is it any good?
cpu ratio 4.4 @ 1.265v
cpu ring 4.2 @ 1.2v
ddr3 1600 @ 1.5v
vccin @ 2.0v
running around max 65 celsius

and if i look in cpu-z it says core voltage is 1.296v
any tips would be welcome.

Solution

vccin should be set @ 1.9v
set uncore to 35, stock volts maybe a little nudge up ( helps with higher core overclock - higher setting only noticeable in synthetics not worth the heat and instability )

Maybe you can nab that sexy 4.5ghz with a little bit of tweaking.

That voltage is too high without liquid cooling. 1.25v should be the max on air.
Be careful with the latest version of Prime95 or any AVX stress-testing as it'll add an extra 0.03-0.06v.

So, what mobo and CPU cooler are you using and what are your temps under idle, specific loads, and stress testing?

yes it's on air Gelid Tranquillo Rev.2 on idle it's max 25 celcuis.
and i don't know where to find the specific loads. but testing it on max.
any advice what to do?

Okay, so a decent air cooler, similar to a Hyper 212. Idle temps are fine.

Testing it on max with what program?
By specific load I mean say running a gaming benchmark, playing a modern game, stress testing under XTU, etc.

Just any info or pictures you can provide of the kind of test and temperatures. I recommend using a monitor like HWiNFO: http://www.hwinfo.com/ or Real Temp: http://www.techpowerup.com/realtemp/

i'm testing with prime 95 this is just a short test to show you it http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=2dv27gh&s=8#.UwvadPl5Mjw

but this is happening in general.

What is happening in general? Just those volts and temperatures?

Prime95 torture test with small FFTs should be shooting a Haswell with air cooling at 1.296v to at least 80 degrees. So I think your testing isn't thorough enough. Again Prime95 is dangerous because of that extra 0.03-0.06v it adds.
