Ok, so here's my dilemma, I have a Logitech g35 surround sound USB headset. As well as an Asus Xonar sound card. I also have an external hdmi/3.5mm capture card. What I'm trying to accomplish is having surround sound in my headset (USB), while simultaneously repeating that audio to my capture card. I have virtual audio cable installed. I have read multiple threads on fixing this problem but none have done the trick. In all threads the sound process goes like this: Soundcard>stereo mix>usb headset. Problem is, that renders my 7.1 surround headset into a stereo headset. What I want is to have it go 7.1 headset> Audio repeater>Sound card>capture card. Is there any way to get my headset to be first so I can use surround and then have it converted and repeat that audio to the sound card for recording? Thanks much in advance!!!
