I have this PSU: http://www.seasonicusa.com/M12II-Bronze.htm

I want to buy this GPU: http://www.evga.com/Products/Product.aspx?pn=04G-P4-3776-KR

Will this work? I only ask because my PSU has multiple rails and after some googling I'm really confused as to whether or not this will be sufficient for this GTX 770. The GPU manufacture states "(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 42 Amps.)". To be honest I have no clue what this means and would like to know if one of you more computer savvy people could help me understand if my PSU is sufficient or not.

Thank you in advance!

It would probably be ok but it also depends on your other components such as HDDs, your CPU etc, so to be safe I would look at getting a 700W PSU or 750w PSU, this also gives you the opportunity to upgrade in the future.

I would always recommend the Corsair RM750W PSU as it delivers great performance and will last you. (never cheap out on a PSU)

Hope I helped :)

As far as other components go I have one 7200rpm HD and a Samsung 120gb ssd. Gigabyte z77x-ud3 mobo w/ intel 3570k. Also a couple fans. No overclocking. Also I don't plan on upgrading in the near future after the new video card. I ask because I don't have the extra $100-$150 to dish out on a new PSU if my current one is sufficient (not pushing it). Do you think my PSU would be pushing it?

I think you would probably be ok to use the 4GB 770 although I've done some benchmark research and unless you're using around 3 monitors at 1080p or 1440p the extra 2gb of VRAM only increases your fps around 2-6fps, I personally would but the 2GB model and save some money, anyway your PSU will be fine.

Hope I helped :)

This, I'd go for an XFX 750W PSU though

I understand that I should think about upgrading my PSU, which I will eventually be doing in the coming months. However I just want to know if I'm going to run into any issues by using my current PSU with the GTX 770 for the time being. Is it essential that I upgrade if I get the gtx 770?
