I recently purchased an ASUS monitor with G Sync, and with most games i've tried, it will freeze and my screen will go 80 percent black, meaning a small strip of picture is still at the bottom, every time. if i alt tab out it fixes it but it is extremely annoying. I had a smaller Dell monitor before that didn't do this. Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks in advance
A little more info, the games vary from playing for a 1 to 3 minutes between freezes to 10 to 20. It happened the most in Payday 2, but the least in Battlefield 4. Initially when i started up a few of the games, and had to set the resolution to 1080p, the games would freeze on and off so bad i had to exit out a few times to get to the resolution change. It doesn't happen at all out of gaming. I have tried this on the lowest graphics settings as well.
