Can i hook up a wired connection to a wireless modem

I was thinking of signing up for RCN's 110 Mgbs plan ( and it's only $60 MOS) but since it's a wired connection I dont want to lose the freedom that comes with Wifi so i was wondering if i could some how take the cable and hook it up to a wireless Modem

most wifi routers have both cable connections too.i check with my ISP provider to make sure im getting right device and they a proof.
