Question about my Gateway DX4200-09 Case - Mobo Upgrade

hi i have a gateway dx4200-09

after careful web searching i found it has an am2 socket and is micro atx.
i saw another thread on this and was wondering if this is a good mobo and will it fit in this tower. i know the ports in the back are different but i need the size to fit. thank you

All of these will work. If you want to reuse your cpu. If you want to upgrade, you don;t HAVE to get a fm2+. You can go AMD or Intel too. However, if this is OEM, a mobo change might render the computer useless because it is configured specifically for those parts. Check thee pc site to see if it is possible.

im going to replace everything in it. mobo,proc, power supply,hdd,memory and dvd drive...i love the tower and it fits in my desk right...so i just want to make sure the micro atx will fit.. thank you
