Hi everyone, I have a problem with my new computer build. This is my 4th computer build this year and the first I am having major problems with.

The fans and LEDs run, the green light on the motherboard turn on but nothing shows up on the monitor, the computer does not boot, and there are no beeps codes. I unplugged the RAM and it started to beep so I dont think the problem is the motherboard.

I have tried many things to try to get it to work. I made sure all the correct power cords are plugged in to the correct places, CPU power is plugged in, I have tried removing non essential parts and trying it, I tried resting the CMOS, I have looked online for hours for solutions, nothing has worked. Right now I am thinking it is the CPU that is the problem because when I took out the CPU I got the exact same result as when it was in. I would appreciate help. Thank you.

Specs:

-AMD FX-4130 3.8GHz
- Asus M5A78L Motherboard
- 4GB DDR3 RAM
- 500 GB Hard Drive
- Thermaltake 500 Watt Power Supply
- No operating system installed
- Has never booted

Solution
Check the CPU for any bend pins. Also check the CPU slot on mobo for bend pins. Remove the CPU and install again if no bend pins are found.

Try to boot using other available RAM and only one stick of RAM at a time.

I should have mentioned I already did check the CPU for bent pins and the slot. I have already re installed the CPU twice. I tried your idea using other RAM it did not work. I also tried using one stick of RAM, that also did not work. Any other ideas?
