I accidentally bashed my PC when moving the desk and since then my monitor tells me "no signal" even though the computer turns on/starts up fine. I removed the case to see if I needed to plug anything back in but all seems fine. I generally don't know why this is or how to fix this. I am not a whiz with computers so i dont expect a reply but would be really appreciated. More info can be given on request.

Make sure the monitor signal cable is firmly pushed in all the way at both ends, jarring the PC can cause the connectors to come loose, especially if the retaining screws are not finger-tight.

If they are already tight, unplug PC from power outlet and remove the left-hand side-cover of the case.
Check if the monitor signal cable is connected to a PCI graphics card.
If it is, try reseating that card by removing and replacing firmly.

Warning: discharge static from your body by touching bare metal of the case chassis before touching any internal components.
