I got a new GTX 770 4gb video card, and just upgraded the cpu to an AMD 8 core 4.0ghz processor. My case is a full sized tower with 6 case fans. The GTX 770 has 2 fans on it. So should my video card be running at 75c when playing a game like Sleeping Dogs?

I haven't tested it out on anything more demanding yet. I dont really own any games that would be Sleeping Dogs for graphics i dont think...maybe skyrim would not sure. But I am getting Thief tomorrow. But with it running that high on Sleeping Dogs it just worries me what it will be like on newer games.

A friend told me though that the temp was normal since i had max video settings?

actually he is right,,,75 degrees is pretty normal,,,you should worry if it gets in the range of 80-85 degrees,,,try some other demanding games too like crysis 3,AC4 and see how are the temps in those games,,,if they are within 80 deg,,then you have nothing to worry about,,,if it still bothers you,,you can open your case and blow out some dust

I just put this card in the system so it is freshly blown out, so no dust lol. That is kind of why i was wondering why it was already running that hot lol
