That this is the Enterprise version. You will need to reinstall once you actually buy something. Whatever key you get won't work with this Enterprise trial, and unless you have a volume Licensing agreement with MS, you can't 'purchase' a license for this.

Good to play with, but you will need to reinstall.

They are absolutely fine, I wouldn't recommend anything I thought was 'Dodgy'...plus they seem to be the only source of a download that's not an Upgrade...

Right. I get that. And many people don't think that GetYerKeysHere.ru isn't dodgy either.
I'd ask them how they can sell it that much cheaper than anywhere else.

The actual purchase from MS or wherever also gives the option of creating your own install media for later.

No. The Upgrade is cheaper, because:
1. You already have bought a prev version
2. An enticement to pay again (but less) for the next one.

And everything is a marketing tactic. Everything.

Lol that's true. I thought that the upgrade version came with a new serial tho, hence the question.

Thanks for the info!

An upgrade version also invalidates the old installation.

Scenario:
You have Win 7
You buy the Win 8 Upgrade, and run through it and activate.
That Windows 7 install and key cannot be used on a different PC.
...you can't have it both ways.

Yebbut, although it says 'Full Version' it goes on to say for Windows 7 only, which means you have to relinquish an expensive W7 licence in order to use it, and it's not even the Pro version. In fact it looks like an Upgrade version as it goes on to mention previous versions of Windows. Hopefully we'll be able to satisfy the Mods that the firm I mentioned are absolutely legit (They've been trading for years) and the OP can d'load an OEM version at a competitive price.
As for the differences between the Core and Pro versions, unless you want Remote Desktop Host, Bitlocker, VHD Boot, and Domain Join, Pro is not worth the extra. i.e. OEM full version for around $128
