Hi I am going to build my first gaming PC.
I want to know which motherboard would be most appropriate for the rig.

The Parts:
1. Processor- Intel Core i7-4770K Haswell 3.5GHz LGA 1150 84W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics BX80646I74770K

2. RAM- CORSAIR Dominator Platinum 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 Desktop Memory Model CMD16GX3M2A2133C9

3. Graphics Card-ASUS GTX780-DC2OC-3GD5 GeForce GTX 780 3GB 384-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

4. Hard Disk Drive- Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM001 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

5. Solid State Drive- SAMSUNG 840 EVO MZ-7TE250BW 2.5" 250GB SATA 6Gb/s MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

6. Gaming Mouse- Logitech G700s 910-003584 13 Buttons 1 x Wheel USB Wired / Wireless Laser Rechargeable Gaming Mouse

So which Motherboard is better for the above parts?

And which case should I get?
I was thinking about the Corsair 750D ATX Full Tower Case.
Is that okay?

Which cooler should I use?
Is the stock cooler of the i7 Processor good enough?
I'm not planning to do a lot of overclocking.

What is the Power Supply needed?
Which PSU should I get?

I have heard that all the three listed Motherboards are good.
I want to know which of them is the best.

I know many people don't like MSI. But it seems okay. It has a lot of features.

And I love the Maximus VI Formula Motherboard.

The Maximus VI Extreme also seems good.

So which one should I get?

Please answer all my questions.
Thanks.

Dear,

I'm using Asus Maximus VI Formula and I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee it. Definitely go for it.

If you are not going to overclock then stick with stock cooler else consider Noctua NH-U14S. I'm using Corsair Dominator Platinum 32GB Kit and this cooler gives me no RAM space issue.

Corsair 750D is a go though I would like to recommend Cooler Master HAF X 942 (Reallyyyyyyyyyy good one from High air flow wise and it is full tower with lot of space in it)

For your specs, 650-700W PSU is good enough.

But I have seen many reviewers say that it is not that good.

And please answer my other questions.
I really need to know since this is my first time in building a PC.

Maximus for sure. One thing to note though, Be very very careful with the CPU cooler you choose. With the Dominator RAM having large-ish heat spreaders, you need to make sure the cooler has enough clearance.

Good luck with your build =D

Which Maximus- Formula or Extreme?
Also which was released later-Formula or Extreme?

And can you suggest a cooler and PSU?
Is the Noctua-NH D14 cooler good?

And should I replace the current GPU with GTX 770?

The D14 is a great cooler, the clearance isnt great... I have it in my system (with a few adjustments) and I have to remove this to get to the ram.

The cooler its self is really quiet and very good.

As for GPU it is personal pref at the end of the day, its entirely up to you what card you go with, just research them first :)

I've answered all of your questions:

About the case.

PSU (Power Supply) [Given links as well]

Cooler for CPU
