Hello, I was wondering if someone knows how to fix my problem. I can't make a clean reinstall of Windows 8 using the "remove everything and reinstall windows 8" option in the pc settings. Whenever I try it says I am missing some files and need to set in a media. Because I forgot to make a recovery disk and mirror of the computer I can't find anyway to reinstall windows 8. I built the computer myself with Windows 8 OEM. As far as I know there are no backups of my computer. Is there anyway to fix this? I have the original installation DVD and product key. Thank you.

No it didn't work until recently. I am not sure what I did, but I managed to install a update (finally) and it made it possible to do a clean install. So I guess it didn't work before because of an update error. But thanks for helping.
