Quite some time ago, I purchased 2 Crucial 512gb ssd's for a new system. Making a long story short, I got disabled. I now want to start the build and I read up on the latest reviews about the bug and the 5184 hrs. ,but some reviews said the updated firmware today will fix this. Now, seeing the new Crucial 960gb with the firmware right on it and for the price, I would like to have had this one.

Anyway, if I use the 2 512 ssd's, what are the first few steps in doing this correctly?

Solution
Mostly, just like regular hard drives.

Have only one connected.
Verify the BIOS is in AHCI mode
Install Windows, and let it do its updates.
Install drivers as needed
Once Windows is running fine, connect the other drive
Install all your applications
