Overclocking the cpu, is it effective for graphic design, 3D design, rendering and video editing?

I would agree with above poster, but you didn't specify what CPU you have, or anything else really. If its a Xeon, good luck getting it stable with a locked multiplier, also don't expect to see any difference. If its a AMD, yeah OC would help just make sure you have a good cooler. One last thing and I may be wrong but I thought xeon/quadro/FX/firepro were made to be stable and OC has a tendency to cause instability if done incorrectly, you might be biting off more than you can chew.
