Hi

my friends motherboard recently died and now is in the process of building a new computer.

i have recommended him 450W power pack and a saphire 7770 graphics card which he now owns. he is looking to build a computer to run Eve online in reasonable quality, doesnt need the best.

i have been tasked with the job of building it as he has no idea, i have built a my last PC and have done some repairs so i am compitent in the construction side of things but am unsure on what MB and CPU will work will in conjuction with the G-card etc

He wants to Spend less than £100 on CPU and MB so have recommended the following:

AMD A6 Series Dual Core (A6-5400K) 3.6GHz Accelerated Processor Unit (APU) 2x512MB with Radeon HD 7540D Graphic Card

Asus F2A55 Motherboard Athlon/A-Series Processors Socket FM2 A55 FCH (Hudson D2) ATX RAID Gigabit LAN (Integrated AMD Radeon HD 7000 Series Graphics)

Would these componants work well together?

Is there anything else i should be looking at buying for £100? (both CPU and MB for £100)

Don't get that, it's an APU. This would give much better CPU performance:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: AMD Athlon X4 750K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor (£59.87 @ Amazon UK)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-F2A55M-DS2 Micro ATX FM2 Motherboard (£38.77 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £98.64
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)
