Laptop did not stars

    I baught DELL Inspiron15 but it did not starts unless it is connected to power but it's battry is ok works for about 5hrs. Please if someone advise what to do

Over time, batteries will degrade and will never retain their original capacity for charge. For many laptop owners, plugging the adapter is the safest way to keep continuous power without interruption. To reduce power consumption, you can also change power settings by navigating to Start > control panel > Power options > 'Click on Change plan settings'. ~Good luck!

Are you saying it does not turn on unless on wall power but then you can unplug it and it works for hours off the battery alone? You may need to replace the power circuitry or the motherboard. It may be the battery but more likely the motherboard connections.

Have you tried removing and reseating the battery?
