Hi, (this is my first post btw) I need a new monitor to use as a primary monitor as my current one (HP 2311x) keeps blacking out and is not quite good enough. Preferably 120hz, 1080p or higher, 5ms or less response time, LED maybe a IPS panel. DVI-D! 23"- 25" screen
Im from the UK.
My rig
i5 2500k 4.8ghz
hd 7950 overclocked
Thanks!!
Sorry forgot to mention budget of £220 max, thanks

I use the Asus VG24QE and it is great for gaming. The 144hz refresh rate is awesome, Though Tearing is not as apparent in new titles but I noticed Games like Battlefield Bad Company 2 had a lot of tearing on My AOC 1080p@60hz. And now I do not notice any tearing even in older titles. The Low input lag is said to help when playing FPS games online but It is hard to notice coming from a 5ms Monitor. I must warn you though this TN Panel does not look that great in movies or pictures, though it is not bad it is just not as good as IPS or even some other TN panels. This monitor recieved the best reviews for a gaming monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824014350. I hope that link worked. Anyway this is just my opinion and some might not notice the image quality as much.

But price of this monitor exceeds his budget

Yeah but I don't want my new monitor to be worse and slower than my current one, as I intend to keep it for a few years and don't want it to be too outdated!

I've looked around online at that monitor, some people are complaining of poor image quality as it isn't a IPS panel. Are there any 120hz IPS monitors around my price? How about those korean ebay 1440p monitors?

any good? reviews seem good for them, and its 1440p, better future proofing.
